Join the cattle and become a moo-moo!

''Oh deer!''

Let it be known that I tried really really hard. All for nothing. So the original Christmas/holidays themed post was supposed to be drafted by now. But due to circumstance, fate, St. Nick himself, I am writing this instead. We will not be talking about movies, books, TV shows or a trend or trend that I'm opposed to. No. Today we will be dissecting and critiquing what my post should've been. Turning the tables as a seasonal treat of sorts.

The plan was to review a bunch of things and make a mash up post or pick and choose certain media and highlight it. But I hadn't decided whether this post was supposed to be a positive one, talking about something I enjoyed or a more negative, critical one. Turns out, it's neither :')

The itinerary was as follows:

Talk about the atrocity that was Spotify Wrapped.

WHAT AN ATROCITY!!!

(I have to fill in the space so the post isn't comical small somehow, hence the theatrics, my apologies!)

To watch (probably bad movies):

1. Carry-on
2. Sabrina Carpenter's special
3. That one animated movie that I keep getting promoted at, seems nice
4. One of the mean girls Christmas movie
5. Tomorrowland x OTH Christmas movie

Ended up not watching any of em because they were either boring, bothered me or I just wasn't interested in actually watching it.

To read (half are probably god awful):

1. The Most Wonderful Crime Of The Year
2. Wreck The Halls
3. Elf On The Shelf
4. Mrs. Quinn's Rise To Fame

I tried reading two of the books and one was bad and the other was too...low-stakes and just not my usual type of genre but it was sweet.

After those two failed attempts I tried again.

To watch (actually good):

1. It's A Wonderful Life
2. The Apartment
3. Metropolitan

And as I tried to watch these movies, my pirate ship sunk and I couldn't find another with subtitles. After that I gave up and gave in. If the Christmas Gods didn't want me to watch or read anything then so be it. So, basically I didn't actually watch or read anything of note. A very boring December it seems.

Hence, this year you get.........

nothing.

As a little treat ;]

Long time readers will know that this is miles better than last year, where there wasn't even a post so if anything, this is special treatment. Anyways I'm out of words and this seems coherent and nonsensical enough so bye bye!

Next year will be worse hopefully!

Oh, deer, indeed! This here is a delightfully verbose account of the qualms of a spirit all too relatable. A gentle **** you to not only what the media has to offer in light of a jolly season, but to circumstances of life that limit the average Joe from just being happy, at least for the holidays.
This was delightful to read, truly a nom-nom-nom comment!
